PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN are weighing-up a move for Diego Costa with Atletico Madrid keen to offload him in order to sign free agent Edinson Cavani.
Los Rojiblancos have been itching to sign the Uruguayan striker, 33, since January – when he became eligible to sign pre-contract terms.

However, the LaLiga side have struggled to get a deal over the line due to a backlog of strikers.
Having already got rid of Alvaro Morata to make room for Luis Suarez, Atleti will only be able to land freebie ex-PSG star Cavani if they dump Costa.
The former Chelsea man, in turn, could move to Paris, according to Spanish outlet AS.
Costa had recently joked he was looking forward to partnering Suarez, who scored twice on his debut, at the Wanda Metropolitano.
The Brazil-born Spain international joked, “I’ll do the fighting, he can do the biting”, in a nod to their chequered pasts.
But Costa may now not get the chance to continue his new friendship with the former Barcelona man with PSG keen to bring him to the French capital.
PSG are yet to replace Cavani this summer, only making their loan move for Mauro Icardi permanent.
But with Cavani and Eric-Maxim Choupo Moting both leaving, PSG are keen to add more depth to their attacking ranks.

Costa rejoined Atletico Madrid in 2017 followinga four-year stint at Chelsea.
But in just over three seasons, the ex-Blues ace has managed only 55 LaLiga appearances, scoring 11 times.
Los Rojiblancos now seem keen to get him off their books and replace him with Cavani – who scored 138 goals in 200 Ligue 1 game for PSG.
However, Manchester United recently declared their interest in signing Cavani on a free – as well as a loan deal for Real Madrid flop Luka Jovic.
