JOSE MOURINHO’S goalkeeper coach Nuno Santos was sent-off AFTER the final whistle after Tottenham’s controversial draw with Newcastle.

Lucas Moura’s first half strike looked to be enough to seal the points for the home side – until Newcastle were awarded a ridiculous penalty in the dying seconds after the unfortunate Eric Dier was judged to have handled inside the box.
Callum Wilson stepped up to earn Steve Bruce’s side a share of the spoils as Mourinho stormed off from the touchline in frustration.
But his coaching team were not so in control of their emotions, especially Santos.
He raced onto the field to confront the officials in the centre circle along with several Spurs players, and he was quickly shown a red card by the referee for whatever words he used.
The 47-year-old will now have to serve a touchline ban for his antics.
The obviously furious Mourinho refused to be drawn on the incident, saying he would rather give his money to charity than risk being fined by the FA.
He said: “I don’t think – I think about my team’s performance. Very good.
“First half amazing, should be three or four nil easy, but Darlow was fantastic and we hit the post and they managed to survive.
“In the second half we controlled and kept them away from our box. We know the danger of our box.
“We know the Tottenham box is a special box, so we managed to keep them always away, and then we have the situation that we lost two points. But I’m not going to comment on it.”
He added: “I don’t want to speak about it. If I want to give money away then I give to charities, I don’t want to give to the FA. So I prefer not to comment.”
Newcastle boss Bruce admitted to Sky Sports: “I can understand why Spurs will go beserk and Roy Hodgson reacted like he did.
“It is a total nonsense, we should be jumping through hoops but I would be devastated if that was us.
“The decisions are ruining the spectacle. We have to get together as managers and say this must stop.
“If our goalkeeper didn’t play as well first half they would have been out of sight.
“Second half we were better and posed a bit of a threat. Our goalkeeper has got us a point and a decision that went our way.”
