TOTTENHAM’S hopes of landing Italy midfielder Zaniola have sunk fast after Roma rejected a £45million bid.
The Italian giants reportedly rate the 21-year-old at £63m, with Manchester United, Barcelona, Juventus and Borussia Dortmund also said to be keen.

And that sum seems off limits for cash-conscious Spurs.
Roma’s new owners are unwilling to offload star performers as they hope to challenge the Serie A elite.
And Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho has so far signed only ex-England keeper Joe Hart and £15m Denmark midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg from Southampton.
Spurs could be facing losses of around £200m, heightened by the coronavirus pandemic.
Modest transfer targets have included Leicester winger Demarai Gray.
And Wolves right-back Matt Doherty seems an attainable option at £15million.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s Wolves are already thought to be lining up Arsenal’s Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Valencia’s Thierry Correia as possible replacements.
Maitland-Niles was even talked of as interesting Tottenham when the Londoner made it clear he wanted out of his childhood club.
Meanwhile, Spurs’ France midfielder Tanguy Ndombele has tested positive for Covid-19.
