Tottenham stars brave the club’s Dare Skywalk – a thrilling climb onto the ROOF overlooking London

TOTTENHAM always said their swanky new stadium would help them scale new heights — and it has already delivered.

OK, maybe there are no titles or trophies, yet, but if it’s adrenalin-fuelled adventure and breathtaking views of the capital you want then Spurs are leading the way.

SunSport was at the opening of the club’s new Dare Skywalk experience that puts you right on top of the action — and Spurs’ players, including Dele Alli, tried it out yesterday.

This is no executive schmooze-fest, it is a genuine must-do attraction — not just for football fans but for thrill-seekers and London-lovers alike.

Once you’ve buckled up, you trek around the outside of the stadium before reaching a glass roof above the huge 17,000-capacity South Stand.

Then comes the heart-in-mouth bit as you edge along a slim walkway around Spurs’ famous golden cockerel 46.8 METRES above ground — that’s the same as 23 Peter Crouch’s!

The brand new £1billion Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is one of the most modern stadiums in world football.

The South Stand has been based on the Yellow Wall at Borussia Dortmund, a single-tier 17,500-seater stand which is designed to create a stunning atmosphere.

No expense has been spared in the design, which saw Daniel Levy and architect consultant Christopher Lee travel the world looking at other stadiums, airport terminals and arenas to gain inspiration.

The stands have a 35 degree angle, with the idea of ensuring the fans are on top of the pitch as much as possible.

You may be locked to a safety rail on one side but there is no barrier on the other, just a sheer drop and spectacular view of the £1billion arena. l DARE SKYWALK adult tickets are now available to book from £39 at experience.tottenhamhotspur.com
