KYLIAN MBAPPE wants to write football history in Lisbon tonight.
If Paris Saint-Germain beat Bayern Munich, the 21-year-old sensation will smash Sergio Busquets’ record by 113 days to become the youngest ever player to triumph in World Cup AND Champions League-winning teams.
Kylian Mbappe has vowed to make Champions League history with PSG this evening by taking down ”big dog” Bayern Munich.
Mbappe said: “I always said I wanted to write the history of French football.
“That is exactly the reason I joined the club. I’ve always dreamed of coming up against the best. When you want to be the best, you have to come up against them.
“We’re up against a big dog, we need to have determination but also to play our own game.
“It is an opportunity for us to join that elite circle.
“We know our quality, what a big club we are and how much the club has grown over the years.”
PSG’s first Champions League title would make them the first French champions of Europe since Marseille in 1993.
SunSport columnist Danny Higginbotham is among the experts who believe Mbappe, Neymar and Angel Di Maria — signed for a staggering £404million combined — could punish Bayern if the German champs stick with a high defensive line.
But Bayern boss Hansi Flick said: “Ultimately we’ve got results doing that, so we won’t change too much on that score.

“It will be a special game. It is so much fun with this team.
“Every single player is prepared to give everything.
“In our games over the last ten months, we’ve always tried to impose our style on the opposition and always played with a high line.
It might be Neymar and Mbappe on the right, they are very good going forward
Joshua Kimmich
Of course, there’s quite a lot of space in behind our defensive line.
“They have pace and are a top team with incredible players.”
Full-back Joshua Kimmich has spent a lot of the season in central midfield but will likely be tasked with keeping PSG’s front three at bay.
He said: “I think I’m going to play right-back.
“It might be Neymar and Mbappe on the right, they are very good going forward.
“They have an enormous amount of pace that we will have to look out for but we won’t shy away from it.”
Bayern are out to end their seven-year wait for a sixth crown — their last triumph coming in a 2-1 win over Borussia Dortmund at Wembley in 2013.
Kimmich added: “The previous generation took a number of attempts to lift the trophy but we want to do it at the first opportunity.
“It’s unfortunate to play behind closed doors but it’s a huge opportunity we really want to seize.”
