BAYERN MUNICH chief Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has confirmed Liverpool target Thiago Alcantara wants to leave.
The Premier League champions are believed to be negotiating a £31million deal for the 29-year-old.

Alcantara has just one year remaining on his deal with the Bundesliga giants.
And Rummenigge has confirmed the club will sell him this summer to avoid him losing him on a free transfer when his contract expires.
Speaking to Bild, he said: “He’s a great guy on and off the pitch.
“We negotiated with him and met all of his wishes.
“But Thiago Alvantara wants to leave.
“It looks like he may want to do something new at the end of his career.
“We don’t want to lose a player for free next year. I say that very clearly. “
Liverpool appear to be in pole position to sign the highly-rated central midfielder.
Alcantara is seeking a new challenge after spending seven years with Bayern since he joined from Barcelona.
He has chipped in this season with three goals in 35 games across all competitions.
But Rummenigge claimed the club have not been in contact with Liverpool regarding a deal.
He added: “We haven’t had any contact from Liverpool.”
