REAL MADRID are sweating over the fitness of Raphael Varane after the defender went off with a head injury during the 1-0 win against Getafe.
The 27-year-old was withdrawn from play in the first half at the Estadio Alfredo Di Stefano on Thursday after being whacked in the face by the ball.

The incident occurred just 20 minutes into the match, but the centre-back got back to his feet and carried on playing.
However he was substituted for Eder Militao just after the half hour mark after speaking to the Real doctor during the water break.
Varane has been a rock at the back for Los Blancos this season, and has been a key reason why Zinedine Zidane’s side are four points clear at the top of LaLiga.
He has featured in 29 out of 33 league games this campaign, scoring two goals and registering one assist.
But according to AS, Varane is set for a spell on the sidelines and will not be risked to face Athletic Bilbao on Sunday.
They state that club doctors have advised him to stay at home and rest after he complained of dizziness and pain in his neck.
And it has been claimed that Varane is recuperating indoors, with the plan for him not to be involved against Bilbao.
AS report that a decision will be made on his fitness in the next few hours, but it is unlikely he will play.
Bilbao have found good form after losing 2-0 to Barcelona, beating Mallorca 3-1 followed by a 2-0 victory away at Valencia on Wednesday.
