TOTTENHAM have reportedly offered Bayern Munich starlet Taylor Booth a contract with the club said to be desperate to bring him to North London.
The 18-year-old midfielder – who joined the German side’s academy in January 2019 – is regarded a future star for club and country with Spurs looking to snap him up.

Booth – who has represented the USA national team at U-16 level to the U-19s – is tied down at the Allianz Arena until 2022, but that hasn’t stopped Jose Mourinho’s side from looking to land him.
According to Football Insider, Spurs have tabled an offer for the talented American as they vie to bring him to the Premier League with the Special One recently confirming the club have limited funds to spend.
They state that Spurs are offering him a lucrative deal as they try and persuade Booth to leave Bavaria.
Tottenham scouts are said to have been left impressed by his performances this season, especially his display against the club during their Uefa Youth League meeting in December.
And it has been claimed that Booth could be tempted to leave Bayern as he is concerned about his pathway to first team football.
He has featured 16 times for Munich’s U-19s this campaign, where he has chipped in with five assists – with two of those coming against Spurs.
Booth’s mother has spoken of her shock that her son has already achieved so much after he was born with Torticollis – a condition that causes the neck to twist, causing head tilt and resulting in insufficient blood flow to the neck muscles.
She said: “It was really bad. He went to physical therapy as an infant and he screamed constantly. Sometimes the condition will cure itself, but he had it so bad that he had to do therapy.
“This kid had to have therapy for the first five months of his life, around the clock, and he was a crybaby who didn’t like getting his neck stretched.
“And now he’s gone from needing physical therapy as a baby to being on the US National Team – and he thinks it’s normal. What he doesn’t realise is that there was a time when we just thought, ‘I hope his lungs work and his brain works.'”
