ERLING HAALAND’S former boss at Red Bull Salzburg believes the Borussia Dortmund marksman would be a great fit for Liverpool.
The 19-year-old has enjoyed a superb season having chipped in with 41 goals in all competitions – with 13 coming for BVB following his January switch from the Austrian outfit.

His stunning form has led to speculation that he could be on the move again, with Real Madrid claimed to be desperate to bring him to the Bernabeu.
Los Blancos are plotting a third Galacticos era, and want to sign the Norwegian international as well as Kylian Mbappe to spearhead their attack along with Eden Hazard.
Juventus are also understood to be keen to secure his services, while Manchester United have retained their interest after being snubbed by the player during the winter transfer window.
But Salzburg gaffer Jesse Marsch has declared that the generational talent would thrive under Jurgen Klopp as his style of play would suit the teenager.
And with Sadio Mane linked with a move away, the Reds could afford Haaland should they decide to cash in on the Senegalese star.
HAA LA LAND
Speaking to the Liverpool Echo, Marsch said: “He is a very special talent and just when you take his speed, his explosiveness, his size, his power, his technical ability, finishing, he would immediately be in the upper echelon of players in the world.
“But then when you also consider his tactical intelligence, his motivation, his discipline, his desire to improve and grow, then the combination means you have something very unique.
“We are only scratching the surface of the potential for Erling.
“He will continue to do well at Dortmund and I’m not sure how long he’ll be there before it’s time for him to take the next step, but he has the potential to be one of the best players in the world, no doubt.

“It’s another player that Liverpool would be very lucky to have.
‘It won’t be cheap, but he loves the explosive style of play and being in open spaces, running in behind defences and being aggressive.
“Just by theory, it fits the way Liverpool plays. He would be an incredible fit.”
