AC MILAN have allayed fears that Zlatan Ibrahimovic has suffered a career-ending injury after announcing his Achilles tendon is perfectly intact.
The 38-year-old suffered an injury during training on Monday morning with Italian media stating he is set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines.

And with his Milan contract to expire at the end of the season, there were worries that this setback could potentially end the Swedish striker’s glittering career.
But the Serie A side have announced that Ibrahimovic has only suffered a calf injury, with he player set to undergo a full scan next week.
In a statement released on the club’s website, they said: “AC Milan announces that Zlatan Ibrahimovic has sustained an injury to his right soleus muscle during yesterday’s training session.
“The Achilles tendon is perfectly intact.
“The player will undergo a scan in ten days time.”
Depending on the severity of the calf injury, the maximum amount of time Zlatan will be out for would be around two months.
No surgery should be required, meaning Ibrahimovic is likely to be back on the pitch before the Italian top-flight campaign is concluded.
Since re-joining the Rossoneri on a short-term deal on a free transfer after leaving LA Galaxy, the ex-Manchester United ace has chipped in with four goals in 10 games.
