But it has emerged that the Frenchman broke the rules.
According to Sport, Zidane travelled beyond the city borders to visit his second home.
The 47-year-old bought the property around a year ago, but rules of Phase Zero have prohibited citizens from leaving their primary homes to visit their secondary abodes.
It is believed that Zidane wasn’t pictured, and that if he had been he would likely be receiving a £1,350 fine from Spanish police.
Madrid remains in Phase Zero until midnight tonight.
Zidane has been busy of late, with his stars back in training as they gear up for LaLiga’s June 8 return.
Spain has been struck by over 235,000 cases of Covid-19 – the fifth most of any country in the world.
To date, 28,678 people have been killed there by the disease.
According to Sport, Zidane isn’t the only Real Madrid employee to have broken the rules of Phase Zero.
Back in March, they reported that Gareth Bale had flouted rules to play golf.
The Welshman is believed to have done so the weekend after Real Madrid basketball player Trey Thompkins tested positive for coronavirus.
