Now the Daily Star is reporting that the criminals, who escaped with three watches worth £350,000 each and jewellery, were prepared to put a knife to the pet poodle if they didn’t get their way.

A source told the newspaper: “They were pretty nasty and after smashing their way in and punching Dele.

“They threatened everyone with physical harm unless they complied with their demands.

“They even threatened to kill the dog if things didn’t go the way they wanted them to. It was pretty scary.”

SunSport has previously reported how Ruby Mae thanked fans for their support as she described the robbery as a “horror of an experience”.

She wrote: “Thank you to everyone for reaching out, a horror of an experience but we are all safe.”

Alli, 24, was in a downstairs room with long-time partner Ruby Mae, his adopted brother Harry, Harry’s girlfriend and another male friend when the masked bandits burst in at 12.30am on Wedneday morning.

They somehow managed to evade Alli’s personal security guard who is on the Hertfordshire property at all times.

They punched the Spurs midfielder in the mouth and assaulted another man after demanding the frightened group hand over valuables.

Just days after the horrifying attack, Alli has returning to training with Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham side.

He was pictured as he cruised to the club’s Enfield base in his flash blacked-out Rolls Royce.

Cops are hunting for the thugs who escaped with the watches and jewellery.

SunSport exclusively revealed how Premier League friends of Alli have hatched a plan to make his stolen watches too hot to handle so they can’t be sold on.

Alli, 24, has circulated details of their makes and models.

Footie pals have said they will alert their watch dealers, and let him know if anyone is offering anything suspicious.
