Arsenal stars are to start handing back their home gym kit as the club ramps up preparations for the season to restart
But Arsenal are now ready to move into the next phase of training at their Hertfordshire HQ and want their expensive gear back.
Arsenal’s squad reported back to training last month and became the first Premier League team to return to work following the coronavirus outbreak.
But so far it has been limited with the players working solo and still unable to even enter the locked up buildings at their plush London Colney base.
They are hopeful they can move into the next stage of pre-season work this week.
That will mean players working in groups of five while observing strict social distancing measures.
Premier League bosses are working towards restarting the season from June and condensing the remaining 92 fixtures into one month.
Arsenal reacted swiftly to the first stage of lockdown by driving mobile gym equipment to the homes of their players and leaving it by the front door.
This week the club hopes to start sending staff from the Facilities department back out on the road to pick it up again.
