FOOTIE star Carlton Cole has told how he suffered a hard tackle when tricked into taking Viagra while on England duty.
He popped the blue pill thinking it was a vitamin — and later had to train with a stiffy.

Cole laughed: “The stonker was there. I wasn’t sexually aroused but it was just there. I was the quickest person around that pitch — I had three legs.”
The then-West Ham striker was duped by fellow pros Jermain Defoe, Wayne Rooney and Shaun Wright-Phillips after being called up for a friendly match against the Netherlands in 2009.
Defoe, who played for Spurs at the time, said: “Carlton was always smiley, happy and that, so we just thought, if you are going to get anyone, who would take it?

“He just took it because he was thinking, ‘Oh yeah, vitamins, good for my body’. I was in stitches. It was the funniest thing. When we told him after . . . his face!
“And there’s nothing he could do. I thought, ‘You’re going to have to deal with this for a few hours, my friend’. Oh my God.”
Defoe, 37, told the Footballer’s Guide to Football podcast that boss Fabio Capello never found out.
But he said they could never pull off the same joke now as footie kits are so tight.
Cole, 36, joked: “I had erased that from my memory — you’re bringing back bad memories.”
