Sorum and Mol were also voted the Most Outstanding Team of the Year in 2019 after winning gold at 4-star events in Las Vegas, Itapema, Jinjiang, Ostrava and Tokyo, and at 5-star Beach Major Series tournaments in Gstaad and Vienna. They were crowned European champions for a second year running, claimed bronze medals at the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Championships and World Tour Finals and also won silver at the 4-star in Warsaw.
