PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN owner Nasser Al-Khelaifi has claimed that Les Parisiens may suffer from colossal financial losses due to the coronavirus crisis.
The 43-year-old – who is also the chairman of the beIN Media Group – has revealed that he expects his star-studded players to help out with the club heavily affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.

One of those he will be hoping to take a pay-cut would be Brazilian forward Neymar, who is believed to rake in around £615,000-a-week.
His team-mate Kylian Mbappe is on around £375k-a-week, while Uruguayan striker Edinson Cavani pockets roughly £360,000-a-week.
In an interview with French news outlet RMC Sport, Al-Khelaifi addressed the issues of the what the postponement of the football season means for PSG.
He said: “I know perfectly well that we are not the most to be pitied at the moment.
“But believe me, if you look at it from a strict financial point of view, the impact of current events – and all the uncertainties that ensue – is considerable for a club like ours.
“I’m not going to reveal a secret to you by telling you that our payroll is substantial. At the end of the season, we risk suffering colossal losses.

“We will face but nothing will be simple and it will take time to find a balance. While waiting for better days, our collaborators are in partial unemployment, like those of all the French clubs.”
When posed with the question on whether his players will accept pay-cuts, he said: “I expect them to make an effort for their club . They know their responsibilities.”
Al-Khelaifi then stressed that football can only return if it is fully safe to do so, as he revealed that the crisis can only be beaten if everyone comes together.
He declared: “For me, I always said that we had to stick to a principle: finishing the competitions and setting the schedules depends on the health situation, the decisions of the government and UEFA.
