TROY DEENEY has returned to football after agreeing to join Baller League UK.
The SunSport columnist retired from the professional game following a spell with Forest Green Rovers in 2024.
He has since provided his expertise as a pundit but is now set to lace up his boots once again.
Deeney, 36, is a late call up to the Baller League, which got underway on March 24.
The striker joins forces with Wembley Rangers – managed by Ian Wright and Chloe Kelly.
They are in need of some added firepower after picking up just one win from their opening four matches.
