Elsewhere, Aston Villa were held by ten man Ipswich, West Ham lost to Brentford, Fulham beat Nottingham Forest and Southampton were beaten by Bournemouth at St Mary’s.
In Saturday’s evening kick-off, David Moyes’ Everton beat Crystal Palace 2-1 thanks to goals from Beto and Carlos Alcaraz.

Gunners start firing again
Despite not having a fit striker for the remainder of this campaign, it did not seem to affect Arsenal this afternoon.
Mikel Merino came off the bench to bag a brace and secure the win for the North London outfit.

How on earth are Everton ahead at half time? Palace could and should be three or four up – but paid the price for switching off late on.
Is it Tyrick Mitchell’s fault for sending a throw-in to a team-mate who wasn’t expecting it? Or should Jefferson Lerma have been alert? Either way it’s a disaster – and an Everton opener.

Then Sarr missed an absolute sitter from yards out, hitting the underside of the crossbar when it seemed easier to score.
