IT was another thrilling day of Premier League action with champions-elect Liverpool BEATEN by Fulham.
Goals from Sessegnon, Iwobi and Muniz helped the Cottagers pull off a shock win over the Reds.
Chelsea failed to cement a top four spot after being held by rivals Brentford.
While Southampton have made history by being the earliest team to get RELEGATED following a 3-1 loss to Tottenham.

Too soon to panic?
Liverpool were BEATEN 3-2 by Fulham at Craven Cottage.
However, they still hold a healthy lead at the top of the Premier League table.
They will be comforted by the fact that Arsenal dropped points at Goodison Park yesterday afternoon.
But – after being knocked out the Champions League and losing the Carabao Cup final, that is now one win in four for Arne Slot’s side.
Just a bump in the road, or have Slot’s side been figured out?

A late goal by Mathys Tel secures victory for Tottenham.
This was barely a contest and Southampton’s late goal really flattered them on the scoreline.
Not an awe inspiring performance but Spurs got the job done.
Southampton relegated
The Saints are down and out with seven games to go.
They still have something to play for – beating Derby County’s record of 11 points, with the Saints currently on 10.
Southampton relegated from the Premier League
FT: Fulham 3-2 Liverpool
Liverpool suffer their second defeat of the season.
They only have themselves to blame with their woeful defending.
A huge scalp for The Cottagers.
Tottenham 3-1 Southampton
90+6. Bayern Munich loanee Mathys Tel adds a third for Spurs from the spot.
He ends not only the game, but surely Southampton’s stay in the Premier League.
Goal – Mathys Tel (Tottenham)
FT: Brentford 0-0 Chelsea
It is a bore draw in West London.
Neither side able to take one of their few chances.
This will not help The Blues’ Champions League hopes.
Tottenham 2-1 Southampton
90+1. A glimmer of hope for the visitors.
Fernandes takes the ball down on his chest and drills it through the legs of Vicario.
Nervy end to this game for Spurs.

Tottenham 2-0 Southampton
87. It has been a disappointing second-half.
The fans are silent and they are being given nothing to get them excited.
This is like a pre-season friendly.
Fulham 3-2 Liverpool
86. With four minutes to go, Liverpool have to throw everyone forward.
Chiesa and Nunez are on and they are playing five up top.
This will be a bitter defeat if they cannot get something from this game.
Fulham 3-2 Liverpool
79. Diaz scores to give The Reds hope of getting something out of this.
Moments later Robertson crosses into the box and it misses everyone, coming through to Elliott.
His left-footed shot looks like it is heading in the top corner but comes crashing back off the crossbar.
Goal – Luis Diaz (Liverpool)
Brentford 0-0 Chelsea
70. The Bees have a big chance to break the deadlock.
Schade has a sight of goal but drags it well wide of the far post.
Had someone been attacking the six yard box, it would be a simple tap in.
Fulham 3-1 Liverpool
62. There has been no passion or hunger from The Reds.
There attempts to win the ball just seem token gestures.
If they can get a goal in the next ten minutes we could have a game on our hands.

52. Jackson has come on for The Blues.
In the five minutes he has been on, he has done more than Nkunku in the entire match.
Chelsea are looking to get forward more now.

The Saints are marching down to the Championship.
Half-time here and they are 2-0 already, an interminably-long VAR check away from 3-0, and looking like they have no way back.
They will be the fastest team ever to be relegated in Premier League history.
Ange Postecoglou meanwhile has provided some entertainment on the touchline by flicking an imaginary coin during the five-minute VAR check that ruled out Lucas Bergvall’s goal at 1-0.
It was as if to say, if VAR rules this out or not, it is down to pot luck.
HT: Tottenham 2-0 Southampton
Spurs have dominated this game.
The Saints are looking out of their depth as ever this afternoon.
This could be a confidence-boosting win for Postecoglou’s side.
HT: Brentford 0-0 Chelsea
It is an even game at the Gtech Community Stadium.
Brentford have really come into the game since the early Chelsea chance.
This game needs a goal to spark it into life.
HT: Fulham 3-1 Liverpool
This has been truly dreadful from Arne Slot’s side.
After taking the lead, their defence has completely imploded.
It looks a long way back for the visitors.

IT has been a subdued atmosphere here at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
There was the potential for toxicity given the protest against the owners and the week – and season, really – Ange Postecoglou has had.
But Brennan Johnson’s tenth Premier League goal of the campaign means there is no reason to be up in arms, right now at least.
If anything, it’s the Saints fans who making the most noise, every so often piping up with self-deprecating chants of “Championship again, ole ole”.
Their side will be the fastest ever to be relegated if they do not win today, with seven games left to play.
It would already be all over were it not for two top saves from ex-Arsenal keeper Aaron Ramsdale, the latest one with his face.
Totteham 2-0 Southampton
45. Maddison flicks it on and Johnson slots it in the bottom corner.
If it wasn’t for Ramsdale it could be a lot more.
The Saints are just not at the office once again today.
