VILLARREAL’S LaLiga clash against Espanyol has been POSTPONED – leaving fans furious.
The Yellow Submarine were due to take on the Catalan side at the Estadio de la Cerámica tonight.
Villarreal were going into the match hoping to close ground on the top four while Espanyol were looking to solidify their spot in LaLiga.
However, recommendations were made to postpone the match due to a risk of flooding.
Fans had already entered the stadium ahead of the expected kick-off at 8pm local time.
But they were urged to leave the ground AFTER the game should have started as a message was displayed on the big screen.
