Struggling Saints stunned their fans by not naming one striker in their line-up against Championship side Swansea.

The Premier League’s bottom club, with one win to their name, made two changes from the side thumped 5-0 at home by Brentford.

Swans made four changes from their 1-1 draw with West Brom giving goalkeeper Jon McLaughlin his first start between the sticks.

Top scorer Liam Cullen was left on the bench alongside Zan Vipotnik who became a dad yesterday morning.

  • HT: Arsenal 0-0 Man Utd

Nothing to separate the sides in North London.

Despite seeing so much of the ball, The Gunners have failed to register a single shot on target so far.

Losing Jesus to injury and Odegaard struggling also, it is not going according to plan for Mikel Arteta.

  • HT: Newcastle 1-1 Bromley

It has been quite an even half in terms of chances.

The visitors took a surprise lead with a superb strike from Congreve beating Dubravka in The Magpies’ goal.

Miley followed suit with a good shot from distance himself to draw his side level, but neither side have been able to create much in the way of clear-cut chances.

  • HT: Ipswich 3-0 Bristol Rovers

It has been a comfortable first-half for the hosts.

They are in complete control of the tie and seem destined to head into round four.

It would take something special from the visitors to change the outcome of the game.

Arsenal surely now must spend some cash in this market to bring in a wide forward with Gabriel Jesus’ injury looking a bad one as he was carried off on a stretcher.

And with Raheem Sterling on – only just back from injury himself – Mikel Arteta has now tried FIVE different players to fill in for the stricken Bukayo Saka on the right wing (Martinelli, Trossard, Nwaneri, Jesus, Sterling – and two of those are injured!).

  • HT: Crystal Palace 1-0 Stockport

The Eagles lead as a result of Eze’s superb early strike.

However, it is the only shot on target the hosts have registered in the game so far.

It is in fact the visitors who are creating more and will feel hard done by to go into the break behind.

Palace take a slender lead into the break courtesy of that Eberechie Eze early opener.

But Stockport, who were unhappy with ref Stuart Attwell for not allowing their corner to be taken when blowing up for half-time, have responded well to the setback.

Even more so when you consider they have had less than 20 per cent of possession.

Decent atmosphere here too, with the Palace fanatics in the Holmesdale Road Stand bouncing as usual and County’s contingent making themselves known too.

England stars Phil Foden and Taylor Harwood-Bellis would be proud of their boyhood club.

  • Arsenal 0-0 Man Utd

45+3. Martinez is penalised for a foul on Odegaard.

He came through the player to get a touch on the ball, risky business having already received a booking.

The Norwegian takes the free-kick and sends it sailing over the crossbar.

United, after being outplayed at the start, have really grown into this game and you can see why Bruno Fernandes was angry with ref Andy Madley for not awarding a foul after the challenge from Gabriel Jesus.

Fernandes was cautioned for throwing his boot on the floor in disgust and he must try and avoid a red card. Yet another one.

It took Eberechi Eze just four minutes to break the deadlock here.

And the England star has been running the show since.

Stockport have actually responded pretty well to going behind, given they are on a run of one win in seven games.

But it feels as if all it will take is Eze turning it on again for a moment and this game will be over.

  • Arsenal 0-0 Man Utd

    41. It turns into something of a comedy sketch at The Emirates.

Jesus clatters into Fernandes, who is raging that the referee does not give a foul in his favour.

So much so, he throws his boot down the pitch like a toddler having a tantrum.

The referee shows him a yellow card after the second time of doing it.

Arsenal’s attacker is carried off on a stretcher, having seemed to injure himself in the process.

Sterling comes on to replace him.

  • Ipswich 3-0 Bristol Rovers

    40. It looks like the hosts will be in that fourth round draw now.

The Rovers’ defence goes to sleep as the ball comes through to Taylor on the edge of the box.

He is able to take a touch to steady himself before drilling home.

The replay shows he was a mile offside but there is no VAR in the third round of the FA Cup.

  • Goal – Jack Taylor (Ipswich Town)

  • Arsenal 0-0 Man Utd

    35. Garnacho breaks down the left and looks up for some support in the penalty area.

Obviously there is none, as Hojlund is playing up top and he spends less time in the opponent’s box than any striker in the top-flight.

The Argentine is forced to shoot from a tight angle and it makes for a simple save for Raya.

  • Newcastle 1-1 Bromley

    23. As you would expect, The Magpies are dominating possession.

Despite having 83% of the ball in the game so far, they have only managed a single shot on target, much like the visitors.

It seems only fair, with that in mind, that this match is locked in a stalemate.

  • Arsenal 0-0 Man Utd

    28. The home fans get all excited as The Gunners force a corner.

Arsenal’s reliance on set-pieces now has turned them into a North London Wimbledon of old.

On this occasion, the Red Devils manage to clear their lines.

  • Ipswich 2-0 Bristol Rovers

    24. Al-Hamadi tries a shot but it is well blocked.

However, the ball ricochets into the path of Clarke, who has the simple task of slotting home.

The Tractor Boys are in complete control in the game now.

  • Goal – Jack Clarke (Ipswich Town)

  • Arsenal 0-0 Man Utd

    24. The Gunners are raging after having a goal disallowed.

Martinelli slotted home before the assistant raised their flag for offside.

Despite knowing there is no VAR in this round, the Arsenal players and manager surround the referee claiming it came off a Man Utd player.

  • Ipswich 1-0 Bristol Rovers

    18. Some great goals going in this afternoon.

The Man City loanee bends one in the far corner from about twenty-five yards out to get Portman Road bouncing.

    What a strike!

  • Goal – Kalvin Phillips (Ipswich Town)

  • Newcastle 1-1 Bromley

    16. Normal service is resumed very quickly at St James’ Park.

Superb strike from the youngster that most keepers in Europe would struggle to keep out.

Early nerves are put to bed by that equaliser.

  • Goal – Lewis Miley (Newcastle)

  • Newcastle 0-1 Bromley

    8. Well this was not part of the script at St James’ Park.

From twenty yards out, Congreve strikes an effort that Dubravka cannot keep out.

He silences the home faithful with that stunner.

  • Goal – Cameron Congreve (Bromley)
