Bizarre moment Enzo Fernandez gives fan his SHORTS after Chelsea clash… as thrilled supporter SNIFFS them on live TV

A CHELSEA fan was caught SNIFFING Enzo Fernandez’s shorts live on Sky Sports.

The bizarre moment happened after the Blues came from behind to beat the West Ham 2-1 at Stamford Bridge.

Pedro Neto cancelled out Jarrod Bowen’s opener before Aaron Wan-Bissaka deflected Cole Palmer’s cross into his own net to hand Chelsea a much-needed three points.

But it was skipper Fernandez who was in hot demand after the final whistle.

As is customary, many Chelsea stars took off their shirts to give to fans in the crowd.

That seemingly didn’t work for Fernandez, who played the full 90 minutes, plus stoppage time, for Enzo Maresca’s side, as he whipped off his sweaty SHORTS instead.

Fernandez, 24, failed to make it over the advertising hoardings with his first throw.

But soon the cameras picks up a beaming supporter proudly holding onto the unexpected piece of kit.

As Sky pundits Jamie Carragher and Gianfranco Zola, as well as host Dave Jones, watched on in the studio he then lifted the shorts towards his face.

And to Carragher’s disgust, seemed to take a quick whiff.

A shocked Carragher quickly said: “Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.”

While Jones added: “Get them straight in the washing machine, on a hot wash.”

He then asked Zola: “Did you ever throw your shorts away to the crown, Gianfranco?”

Zola, unsurprisingly, replied: “No.”

Gobsmacked fans couldn’t help but comment on social media either.

One user tweeted: “Yea keep the video out of my location.”

Another commented: “That’s some serious fan dedication! Enzo really knows how to make a memory.”

A third wrote: “Short.. Are you serious?”
