TAI WOFFINDEN has walked out of hospital less than three weeks after the high-speed horror crash that left him in a coma.
The three-time world champion posted a video of himself in good spirits leaving medics in Poland this week.
Woffy, 34, was airlifted to hospital in Krosno in Poland and underwent emergency surgery after suffering numerous fractures and a chest injury in a track pile-up on March 30.
He was put in a medically-induced coma as he recovered from three major operations.
But as he left hospital on crutches, with his voice still clearly affected by the injuries, he said: “We’re out of here. Last day in hospital. Next stop rehabilitation. Let’s go.
“Can’t thank the staff enough at Kliniczny Szpital Wojewodzki nr2 im swietej Jadwigi Krolowej w Rzeszowie Hospital enough for all the work they have done on me over the past weeks.

“I’m checking out right now and the rehab begins on Sunday. Excuse the robot voice don’t [know] when it’s gonna get better.”
Earlier this week Woffinden also admitted the alarming amount of injuries he sustained in the track incident.
It included 12 broken ribs, a double compound femur fracture, a punctured lung and a shattered right elbow,
Woffinden had earlier revealed that he needs more time to absorb the magnitude of his injuries.

He said: “Hey guys, turns out my injuries and an induced coma ain’t no joke.
“I’m on the mend, but please bear with me for now. I just need a little more time to rest and gather my thoughts. I’ll update you all later on in the week.
“Please know how much I appreciate everyone’s love and support from all over the world.”
Great Britain team-mate and World No.2 Robert Lambert paid tribute to his pal and inspiration.
He said: “Tai’s had a pretty rough year really and that’s part of the sport.
“It’s either so good or sometimes it can go so bad, but we all know the risks, and it’s horrible to see something like that happen, and especially him.
“But I’m sure every rider, we all wish him the best and the likes he’d come back from.”
Another fellow GB mate and World No.4 Dan Bewley added: “You never want to see any rider get hurt, and especially in the way Tai has in the recent crash.
“He’s been unlucky with how things have gone the last few years, and I know he’s been working hard to come back strong.
“Every time he’s tried to do so, he gets another kick in the backside, which is not good.
“Hopefully he’s stable and everything is going to be going in a positive direction for him now.”

Tony Rickardsson, speaking at the SGP media day, also expressed his best wishes for Woffy.
He said: “It’s hard to take in all the bad injuries he has been receiving. So my fingers crossed that he’s going to get well soon.”
