MISFITS Boxing kicked off the new year with a blockbuster card in Manchester!
In the huge main event, former UFC fighter Darren Till brutally knocked out Anthony Taylor in round six.
Till was originally scheduled to face Tommy Fury, but the former Love Island star withdrew from the bout in December.
Earlier in the night, BGMedia royalty Little T and Afghan Dan ended their long-standing rivalry in the ring.
The bout ended abruptly after Afghan Dan dislocated his shoulder, which handed a TKO win to Little T.
Also on the night, Misfits Boxing CEO KSI revealed that he will face former Premier League footballer Wayne Bridge in his next fight on March 29.

Darren Till vs Anthony Taylor (Round 6)
Till finally finds the combinations to put Taylor away in this fight.
It was the uppercut that hurt him but he follows up with some big punches to send him to the canvas and the referee decides he has had enough,
A bridge too far for AT in this one, stepping in late to ensure the fights goes ahead.

Darren Till vs Anthony Taylor (Round 5)
What a turnaround in this fifth round.
Till continues to take his time and Taylor finally times a big right hand and his nose his bleeding heavily.
Taylor knows that is his way through and tries to land them throughout the round.
Those blows have rocked Till back somewhat, first round to Taylor there for sure.
Darren Till vs Anthony Taylor (Round 4)
Till is still trying to be too precise and waiting to land sinngular punches rather than getting into Taylor with combinations.
Taylor walks onto one uppercut that puts him on the canvas, but he gets back up for a standing eight count.
All too often Till is just not going in for the kill.
Darren Till vs Anthony Taylor (Round 3)
Taylor’s only hope now is Till tiring.
He continues to bombard him with big punches and Taylor starts to feel them.
Taylor goes to the canvas but the referee said it was a slip.
This is one way traffic, Till needs to see this one out.
Darren Till vs Anthony Taylor (Round 2)
Taylor seems to have no answer for Till at all.
He is in risk, if he does not find a way to fight back, of just being an eight round punchbag.
You wonder how long he can take this barrage of left jabs, hooks and body shots.
Darren Till vs Anthony Taylor (Round 1)
Good round for Till as he takes the fight to Taylor.
Anthony Taylor is trying to use mobility to keep out of the way of the big left-hand punches.
Darren Till has a big punch and has a considerable height distance on his opponent, who stepped in late to fill in for a dropout.

Now for our catchweight main event.
This will be 8 x 3 min rounds.
We are ready to go in this one.
X Series announcements before main event
KSI now plays the part of pantomime villain and would-be Vince McMahon impersonator.
His big announcement tonight is that there is no big announcement.
That seems worthwhile getting up in the ring to notify us all of.
He then asks the crowd who they want him to fight and asks Tony Bellew in the crowd if wants this smoke.
Wayne Bridge jumps out of the crowd and jumps into the ring.
So, KSI’s next fight in March is going to be against Wayne Bridge.
Wade Plemons wins by unanimous decision
Wade Plemons vs Masai Warrior (Round 4)
Plemons seemed to hit the wall in the fourth round.
In the previous three he threw all he had at Masai Warrior but unbelievably he was still stood there.
The Masai Warrior landed a lot more punches that hurt his opponent in the last round but surely it was too little, too late.
Wade Plemons vs Masai Warrior (Round 2)
Another great round from Wade Plemons.
To his credit, the Masai Warrior landed more punches than he did in round one.
Towards the end of the round, Plemons pummels him with combinations and it seems only the ropes are holding him up.
Talk about saved by the bell.
Wade Plemons vs Masai Warrior (Round 1)
Well no one was expecting this, let alone KSI.
He is in a state of shock in the commentary booth.
Plemons has landed four great punches on the jaw of the Masai Warrior.
This round has been one way traffic.
Masai Warrior has taken more right hands than the entire history of industrial accidents in this round.
Wade Plemons vs Masai Warrior
Now the fight people wanted to see.
Wade Plemons, more known for being seen as a commentator on these events walks into the ring.
He is the fancied favourite to win this bout.
Ty Mitchell vs Tommy Hench (Round 3)
Mitchell just had way too much for Hench, who was just trying to stay in the fight to make it longer.
The challenger pinned Hench to the ropes with a series of combinations, Hench being held up by them.
Ty Mitchell then lands some good punches and as Tommy Hench is looking to stagger away from him, he hooks around him and catches him flush in the face and he is out of it.
Ty Mitchell beats Tommy Hench by TKO
Ty Mitchell vs Tommy Hench (Round 2)
Despite Hench being the belt holder, this seems a complete mismatch this evening.
Mitchell is just toying with him and almost seems to be allowing this fight to continue by not going on the attack.
He is able to dodge every punch thrown at him.
The man who sparred for Tyson Fury needs to put this to bed.
Ty Mitchell vs. Tommy Hench (Round 1)
Both fighters feel each other for the majority of the round.
Mitchell then comes to life towards the end of the round and catches Hench with a big left hook.
It rocks Hench but he stays on his feet.
Ty Mitchell vs Tommy Hench
Next we have a light heavyweight bout.
Both fighters are giving it some aggression in their pre-fight media snippets.
It seems quite the contradiction that the snarling Hench then walks in to Coldplay ‘Fix You’.
However, he does have a belt to defend here.
Carla Jade vs Melanie Shah
That is a shocking decision from the judges.
Even KSI commented,:
“I’ve never been a fan of the judges, I felt that was completely wrong.
“Carla landed maybe one good punch, I had that down as a win for Melanie Shah.”
Shah was not happy with the decision and when Jade speaks with DAZN, she is constantly booed by the crowd and initially has a shocked look on her face.
We haven’t seen a fixed scorecard like that since Tyson Fury fought Francis Ngannou.
Split draw decision
Carla Jade vs Melanie Shah (Round 5)
Jade starts the round well, looking like she wants to hold onto that belt.
Shah manages to wear the punches and then gets some off herself which connect.
In the final ten seconds both fighters land some big punches but this one will go to the judges’ card.
Carla Jade vs Melanie Shah (Round 4)
Carla Jade is looking like she wants to be anywhere but in this ring at the moment.
Melanie Shah lands a big right hand to the head and the champion is given a standing count.
With only one round to go, we may be getting a new lightweight belt holder.
Carla Jade vs Melanie Shah (Round 3)
This is not the fight that Carla Jade was expecting.
She is constantly being pushed onto the back foot and Melanie Shah is landing some good punches.
Unless she shapes up, she could lose this on the judges’ card.
Carla Jade vs Melanie Shah (Round 2)
Shah’s reach is causing problems to Jade.
In particular, Shah lands one big right that rocks the champ’s head back.
This is a very even fight, Shah seems to be just edging this one.
