Boxer FLIPS TABLE as Joe Joyce vs Filip Hrgovic press conference descends into chaos

A BOXER flipped a table in fury during the Joe Joyce vs Filip Hrgovic press conference.

Jeamie Tshikeva – known as TKV – and David Adeleye exchanged some fiery words ahead of their English heavyweight title showdown on Saturday.

The fighter lost his cool after Adeleye warned he would beat him up and anyone around him on the same night.

Adeleye began pounding the table as he repeatedly warned: “Trust me I’m the truth. Trust me I’m the truth.”

Tshikeva claimed his opponent was scared and warned: “Don’t talk like that.”

But with Adeleye refusing to back down and not stopping talking into the microphone, TKV took matters into his own hands.

He slammed down on the table before flipping it over.

That led Adeleye to spring to his feet but fortunately security guards were quickly on hand to ensure there was no way the two boxers would get near each other.

Security were well prepared for a potential clash – likely because the duo had to be forced apart after an explosive row this week.

TKV said: “Shut your f***ing mouth. Who the f*** are you pulling up to like that?”

Adeleye, 28, while being held back, said: “Shut your mouth.”

It comes after Adeleye told TKV on radio: “I’m gonna break this guy’s skull, I’m telling you. I’m gonna really hurt him. Trust me.”

TKV, 31, later said: “You’re just trying to be a bully. Really and truly, you’re just pretending.”

The pair will look to back up their words in the ring on the Joyce vs Hrgovic undercard.

Adeleye – once dubbed Britain’s next star by Tyson Fury after their sparring sessions – suffered his first defeat in October 2023.

He was knocked out by Fabio Wardley but bounced back with a devastating first-round finish against Solomon Dacres in December.

TKV is meanwhile 8-1 with his sole defeat coming against Igor Adiel Macedo in 2023 – but he has won three since.
