But the two-time Olympic 100 metres medallist was detained by police last Thursday.

it follows allegations he attacked Texan hurdler Alaysha Johnson, 28, at a South Florida hotel.

CBS News Miami reported that 29-year-old Kerley, 29, was charged with battery.

And at his bond court appearance on Friday, he was granted a $1,000 bond.

It is not known if he will run in legs three and four in Philadelphia and LA.
