The Three Lions conceded just one goal during the group stage, putting to bed any pre-tournament nerves about England’s defence without regular centre-half Harry Maguire.

England secured their spot in the knockout stages after winning Group C and will, in turn, face Slovakia in the last-16 as a result of claiming the top seed.

England will take on Switzerland in the quarter-finals of Euro 2024 if they beat Slovakia in the last-16.

The Swiss comfortably overcame Italy 2-0 on Saturday afternoon to progress to the quarters.

Should England get through, they will face Switzerland on Saturday, July 6 at Dusseldorf’s Merkur Spiel-Arena.

The match would kick off at 5pm BST.
