West Ham fans demand David Moyes is SACKED before half-time after going 4-0 down to Crystal Palace in 30 minutes


WEST HAM fans are calling for David Moyes to be sacked after their side went 4-0 down BEFORE half-time against Crystal Palace.

The Hammers were embarrassed in the early stages of the clash, with Palace netting four goals in the first 30 minutes at Selhurst Park.

Michael Olise opened the scoring just seven minutes into the game before Eberechi Eze and Jean-Phillippe Mateta bagged alongside an Emerson own goal to sink West Ham before they could even blink.

Michail Antonio managed to claw one back in the latter stages of the first half but West Ham were still trailing 4-1 at the break.

Fans of the east London outfit were fuming with the appalling start and took to social media to slam the performance and call for Moyes to leave the club.

One fan wrote: “Time to go now, David.”

While another added: “This is Moyes’s side, his signings, his small squad and his system.

“We were only forced to go all out attack against Leverkusen because of the Moyes errors of parking the bus in the 1st leg.

“This is a side no longer playing for the manager. They know he’s going. #MoyesOut”

A third fumed: “SACK HIM NOW!!”

And a fourth wrote: “4-0 after 30 minutes. Can Sullivan just go and sack him at half time please… #MoyesOut.”

It’s been a turbulent season for Moyes at West Ham who despite heading into this weekend’s fixtures in 8th place, has struggled to offer up the performances that fans want to see.

The Hammers saw their European quest come to an end in mid-week when they were knocked out of the Europa League by Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen.

And despite Moyes leading the team to their first ever European trophy last season, it seems the patience of the fans has run out at the London Stadium.
