He returned in time to help Real Madrid win the Champions League, featuring in the final win over Borussia Dortmund.

Courtois, 32, spent time in Ibiza earlier this month at the iconic Ushuaïa, where his Belgium team-mate Leandro Trossard also holidayed this week.

He joined DJ Steve Aoki on stage in Ibiza and did so once again over the weekend at Tomorrowland in Belgium.

Aoki is known for throwing cake into the crowd during his sets, and Courtois had the honour of doing exactly that in his two appearances on stage alongside the DJ.

Another added: “Thibaut Courtois on stage at Tomorrowland throwing cake into the crowd with 3 Are Legend was not on my bingo card.”

After Courtois’ appearance in Ibiza, Aoki shared a video of him hurling cake into the crowd on TikTok.

He captioned the video saying: “Thibaut Courtois asked me if he could try caking someone… So of course I had to let him give it a go. Amazing goalie and amazing throwing cakes.”
