PORTSMOUTH ace Zak Swanson may have already scored the season’s most comical own goal.
Swanson, 23, started for Pompey in the Championship clash against Sunderland at Fratton Park.
However, the right-back had a moment to forget as he inadvertently sent the ball to his own net following a mad error.
Sunderland ace Eliezer Mayenda fired a close-range shot that was saved by goalkeeper Will Norris.
Portsmouth defender Jordan Williams got the rebound and tried to clear the danger.
But Williams’ kick was careless as he shot the ball straight onto Swanson’s abdomen and the deflection diverted into Norris’ own net.
