VINCENT KOMPANY is willing to release SIX big name Bayern Munich stars, including Manchester United target Matthijs de Ligt.
The Manchester City legend is enjoying a fresh start leading Bayern after leaving relegated Burnley in a £10million deal.
The Bundesliga giants identified Kompany as the man to take them forwards after a dismal campaign, that saw them finish third in the table.
And the Belgian has begun his shock appointment by brutally putting his foot down with a proposed mass exodus.
According to Sky Sports’ Florian Plettenberg six big name players are “allowed to leave” if the club receive suitable offers this summer.
Bayern are inviting offers for forward Serge Gnabry and French winger Kingsley Coman, whose contract ends in 2027.

De Ligt has been on Manchester United’s radar for quite some time.
The Dutchman only joined Bayern two years ago from Juventus for around £68million.
But now the Old Trafford interest could be reignited after Raphael Varane left the club.
