WATFORD are keen on Ben Osborn after Sheffield United let him go.
Osborn was released alongside nine other stars last month as the Yorkshire club announced their retained list.
The Hornets like the midfielder’s experience and want him to sign in case the Blades come back for him when their takeover bid is settled.
Osborn, 29, made 24 Premier League appearances for Sheffield United last season, registering two assists in the process.
He left Bramall Lane having represented the club some 230 times over the course of five years.
Watford aren’t the only club interested in swooping in for Osborn though.
