JOHN FURY has rubbished the idea that his son Tyson was injured by his own wife Paris.
Tyson Fury was forced to delay his undisputed heavyweight bout with Oleksandr Usyk after he received a huge gash above his eye while sparring.
The fight, which has already been delayed once, was pushed back to May 18.
And Usyk’s manager Egis Klimas hit out at Tyson Fury upon learning of the delay claiming that he had “asked his b**** to hit him with a frying pan in his brow” to push the fight back.
But The Gypsy King’s dad John had slammed the suggestion made by Usyk’s team while speaking to Free Bets.
He said: “I’m surprised that men of their experience at the top level, being around top fighters can even talk like that.

“They’re worried, they’ve always been worried. When they’ve seen the shape Tyson’s in, they’ve thought, ‘hang on, we’ve dropped a clanger here’.
“They thought they’d see a Tyson who hasn’t trained. But you know what, that’s where you can get caught out, thinking you know too much.”
The charismatic 59-year-old went on to explain that the injury had been sustained while sparring referring to the claims from Klimas as “bulls***”.

While a video showing the moment it happened has also emerged.
