GERMANY have drawn 1-1 with Switzerland after a frantic group stage clash.

The Swiss took a shock lead in Frankfurt after Dan Ndoye converted from close range.

Niclas Fullkrug’s last-gasp goal made it 1-1 and secured Germany’s spot at the top of Group A.

    Niclas Fullkrug rose to head home a superb cross by David Raum.

    The Frankfurt Arena erupted as the ball nestled in the back of the net.

    It was a great header by the striker who showed his true worth to Julian Nagelsmann’s side.

    In an action-packed match, Hungary striker Barnabas Varga suffered a serious injury when he collided with Scotland keeper Angus Gunn.

    The player was stretchered off with his teammates visibly shocked with what they have witnessed.

    Csoboth scored a late winner for the Hungarians and held his teammates shirt aloft as a show of support for Varga.

    The goal meant that Scotland’s stay in Euro 2024 is over and they will be disappointed with their performance.

    He marshalled the Swiss team and proved to be their leader from start to finish.
