Supercomputer predicts final Premier League table as Arsenal, Liverpool and Man City fight goes down to GOAL DIFFERENCE

THE Premier League title will be decided by goal difference, according to a supercomputer.

Arsenal are the new league leaders after the weekend’s fixtures saw Mikel Arteta’s side win again, while Liverpool and Manchester City drew 1-1 at Anfield.

The Gunners have now won eight on the bounce and show no signs of slowing down, with just ten matches left to be played.

They have blown teams away in recent weeks too and became the first team in English football to win three consecutive away games by a five-goal margin.

Arsenal still have tricky games to come away at City and rivals Tottenham, but a supercomputer has tipped them to win the league on goal difference.

According to bettingexpert’s supercomputer BETSIE, Arsenal will pick up 22 points from their remaining fixtures – winning seven out of the ten matches they have left.

That will give them 86 points – a total matched by Liverpool, who are tipped to lose two more games.

The title will then be decided by goal difference with the Gunners predicted to pip the Reds by a seven-goal margin.

Meanwhile, City have been forecast to finish third but just two points off their title rivals.

That could all change if Pep Guardiola’s team beat Arsenal at The Etihad this month, with the supercomputer suggesting the North Londoners will only lose one more match this season.

Arsenal also face a tricky trip to Spurs and host high-flying Aston Villa, while a penultimate day visit to Manchester United provides another potential banana skin.

Last season the Gunners also led the way after 28 games and even had a five-point lead over City before imploding and eventually finishing five points behind the champions.
