SOUTHAMPTON have released a bold new pink third kit.
The Saints will certainly catch the eye as they return to the Premier League following a season in the Championship.
Russell Martin’s side traditionally wear a red and white home strip, and this season have gone for a striking yellow away number.
Their newly-released third kit, however, is by the far the most memorable of the trio.
The strip is a garish pink, with bright yellow trim and white panels.
Southampton’s website describes the Puma effort as “bold” – before adding: “The striking new third kit follows the dazzle concept for inspiration as the concept has been used on the collar and sleeves, contrasting neon pink with white.”

The Saints plan to debut the kit this evening, when they take on Serie A side Lazio at St Mary’s.
It’s fair to say that the strip has had a mixed reaction online.
One fan joked: “Mr Blobby has sponsored the third kit….”
While a second claimed: “Deserve relegation just for this.”

A third even commented: “That might be the worst kit of all time.”
But a fourth countered: “It’s a beauty.”
And another added: “It’s a nice pink.”
Saints get their Premier League campaign underway on August 17, when they travel to Newcastle.
