GARETH SOUTHGATE’S brave lions are readying themselves to do battle once more for Euro 2024 this summer.

And as England head into the final weeks of their preparation before the competition gets underway, the pundits from ITV1 and ITVX’s Euro 2024 live coverage have made their predictions.

England will head to Germany amongst the favourites to lift the trophy after suffering penalty shootout heartbreak during Euro 2020 at Wembley.

A squad filled with some of the most exciting talents in European football will try and put an end to England’s near 60-year wait for a major trophy in the men’s game.

The experts have had their say on whether Southgate and Co can get over the line this time with big names such as Laura Woods, Roy Keane and Gary Neville making their predictions.

Here SunSport breaks down what they all said to ITV about the highly anticipated tournament ahead of this evening’s warm up game against Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Laura Woods had piled the pressure on England this summer claiming it will be a “huge letdown” if the Three Lions don’t advance to the “latter stages”.

However the award-winning presenter still reckons that alongside France, England are favourites to win the competition.
