REAL MADRID stars are splashing the cash on a £47,000 miracle mattress to help them edge in front of rivals.
The luxurious beds are said to help the footballers recover faster, reducing the risk of injuries.
Vispring beds have been defining the luxury for rest since 1901.
The British company, which was acquired by Flex in 2005, were the provider of sleeping comfort in the luxurious suites of the Titanic and Queen Mary.
And now they have become the heart of the Real Madrid dressing room.
The Vispring Diamond Majesty mattress, which costs £47,000, has already been purchased by the Los Blancos stars according, to the owner of the Vispring Madrid store Alfonso del Saz.

He said [without naming any players]: “He took two 120×220 mattresses. This other one also took big beds, we changed all the ones he had at home.”
Francisco Javier Barbero who is the director of Abantos Clinic revealed why Carlo Ancelotti’s men invested so much on a bed.
Barbero said: “A footballer would find a faster recovery speed in this mattress.
“That relieves the pressure on their musculoskeletal system and facilitates metabolic recovery through greater comfort, temperature and humidity close to physiological values.”

The £47,000 model is made from silk, bamboo and three rows of pocket springs.
The most luxurious collection from Vispring tailors each bed to the individual’s sleeping position, ensuring the optimal level of firmness, springiness, and cushioning.
And if the bed is shared by two people the mattresses are made to not intertwine the postures.
The mattress is meant to reduce the risk of injuries and allow players to recover faster during their rest periods – giving Real Madrid stars that extra boost.
Barbero continued: “Respecting the hours of sleep and rest periods between competitions is of paramount importance to optimise physical and mental condition and reduce the risks of exhaustion and exhaustion, injuries.”
The cheapest mattress at Vispring will still set you back a hefty £5,000.
But Alfonso thinks the price is reasonable as he “can’t understand that for what it costs you to get a few car tyres, you can’t buy a good bed”.
