Tete was filmed by supporters outside Stamford Bridge as he rode away from the stadium.

He smiled and appeared in good spirits as he looked to the fans, while a steward directed him down the road.

The 28-year-old had started the West London derby at Stamford Bridge, playing 64 minutes before being replaced by Timothy Castagne.

Reacting to the video, one fan commented: “Some players go home in a G-Wagon. Kenny Tete catches a lime bike.”

Another added: “You can take the boy out of Holland but you can’t take Holland out of the boy.”

Meanwhile, a third supporter joked: “Wheely good player, is Kenny Tete.”

Tete had been unable to help Fulham to victory against Chelsea, with the Blues emerging as narrow victors.

Cole Palmer’s penalty in first half stoppage time proved to be the only goal.

The result leaves Marco Silva’s side in 13th place in the Premier League, eight points clear of the relegation zone.

Fulham signed Tete from Lyon in 2020 and he has since made 92 appearances for the club, scoring four goals and providing eight assists from full-back.

However, a groin injury earlier in the season has limited him to just nine league appearances so far this term.
