BURNLEY star Charlie Taylor has been declared bankrupt following an administrative error, according to reports.
The footballer, 30, is thought to be paid in the region of £30,000 a week by the Premier League club.
Taylor was allegedly declared bankrupt due to unpaid bills, which has now settled.
According to the Mail, his missed payments were due to an “administrative error” and not deliberate attempts to shirk paying up.
The former Leeds ace, who declined to comment on the matter, is not thought to be suffering from serious financial issues and he has since settled his debts.
The High Court are claimed to be close to granting an annulment on his bankruptcy.
