EVERTON have shown off stunning new aerial images of their £500million new stadium.
But some fans are struggling to get excited, given their team’s current woes on and off the pitch.
The Toffees’ new 52,888-seater stadium is set to open ahead of the 2025-26 campaign.
And with just 18 months to go, the ground is really starting to take shape.
In Everton’s latest video they showed off a number of different areas within the project.
Fans were given a glimpse into the new home dressing room.

While they were also shown the new west stand’s interior.
Outside the stadium they will be able to enjoy a new fan plaza.
And Everton confirmed that work has commenced on the northern half of the western terrace.
Despite the stunning new drone footage, some fans are understandably struggling to remain upbeat.

The Toffees were hit with a 10-point deduction back in November for breaching FFP rules.
Sean Dyche’s side find themselves embroiled in a relegation battle, and could even face a second docking of points after being charged again.
Owner Farhad Moshiri agreed to sell the club to American investment firm 777 Partners in September.
The deal is yet to go through, however, with the Premier League still investigating 777’s suitability.
Earlier this month 777 pledged to lend Everton a further £30m – taking their total investment to £190m.
Responding to Everton’s latest stadium update, one fan sighed: “It’s hard to get excited about a new stadium with the club about to go bust. It’s the most Everton thing ever, isn’t it.”
A second cynically wrote: “Ahh, the old tried and trusted roll out the latest stadium video ploy.”
While a third despondently posted: “Imagine this stadium in the championship.”

And another added: “It’s going to be the best stadium in league 1 after another points deduction.”
