CRYSTAL PALACE manager Roy Hodgson has been given three games to save his job, according to reports.
The Eagles have struggled this season and are just five points above the relegation zone following a 5-0 defeat to Arsenal.
Hodgson, 76, has been the subject of much speculation over the last few weeks and was tipped to be sacked if Palace lost to Brentford on December 30 – a match they won.
However they have followed that up with three games without a goal and are out of the FA Cup after losing to Everton.
Hodgson has held talks with Palace chairman Steve Parish and he will remain in charge for the next game against Sheffield United, report The Guardian.
The former England boss will likely oversee the matches against Brighton and Chelsea after that, and if he is unable to improve Palace’s form he could be sacked.

Some fans feel Hodgson should have already received his marching orders, with supporters slamming the club’s failure to act.
One reacted saying: “So he got asked to step down, he’s blatantly refused as he does come across stubborn and thinks he’s the right man for the job.
“No way Parish will want to sack him, lose against Sheffield United and he’ll have no choice. Just hope someone’s lined up and the Potter links are true.”
Another added: “Hilarious. Essentially ‘that and every game we lose until we’re eventually relegated will decide his future’

A third wrote: “He’ll be gone if we lose on Sheffield Tuesday. His position is already untenable, that will cement it.”
And another commented: “How many chances does this guy need honestly gotta be ruthless nowadays. Gutless ownership.”
