  • Graham Hill’s half time report from Molineux

In a game featuring two Bournemouth penalties, Wolves were not happy to see a couple of appeals of their own turned down in what has been a frantic first half.

Justin Kluivert struck twice from the spot with Milos Kerkez netting in between. Jorgan Stand Larsen put Wolves back on level terms after Bournemouth’s first penalty was given after only 56 seconds.

Ref Peter Bankes and VAR official Paul Tierney are taking centre stage as the Cherries have dominated so far – they could have had more than three.

But Wolves still look capable of clawing their way back into this after a strong finish to the half.

  • Half time thought from Justin Allen at Selhurst Park

Crystal Palace have been the better side as the two teams head for their half-time break.

Daniel Munoz will surely be nominated for miss of the season after the Palace ace somehow shoti wide from six yards after a swift counter saw him teed up perfectly by Ismaila Sarr.

Also a goal-saving interception from Fabian Schar denied Eberechi Eze after he was set to pounce from close range after Sarr’s pass.

Toon offered little going forward and Alexander Isak had to hobble off after just 12 minutes with a hip injury with Harvey Barnes replacing him.

A lot for Eddie Howe to ponder during the next 15 minutes.

  • The half time view from Graeme Bryce at the City Ground

After a promising start the game has kind of fizzled out here.

There is plenty of thud and blunder and loads of niggly fouls and injuries to disrupt the flow.

But good scoring chances have been few and far between as this pair slog it out in the middle of the park mainly.

It’s certainly not one for the purists.

  • Premier League – half time scores

    Brentford 3-1 Leicester

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Newcastle

    Nottingham Forest 0-0 Ipswich

    Wolves 1-3 Bournemouth

  • HT! Wolves 1-3 Bournemouth

An incredible start to this one but just the four goals at the break.

Boos ringing round Molineux – ouch!

  • HT! Brentford 3-1 Leicester

The Bees fell behind but go in with a comfortable cushion at the break.

They just love playing at home.

  • 45+8 – GOAL!! BRENTFORD 3-1 Leicester

Another Brentford goal at the G-tech – and a second for KEVIN SCHADE!

He’s slipped through into the box by Damsgaard but his first touch takes him away from goal.

As poor as that was, his second touch was different class, clipping it over the onrushing keeper, across goal and in off the far post.

  • HT! Crystal Palace 0-0 Newcastle

No goals, no quality, no shots on target, no point coming back out for the second half really.

Alexander Isak went off with an injury in that first half. Not good for Newcastle.

    Rubbish game.

  • HT! Nottingham Forest 0-0 Ipswich

Goalless first half at the City Ground but not without its chances.

10 points and 11 places between them in the table but can’t split them as of yet.

  • No, how’s he missed that?

That is an absolute shocker of a miss at Selhurst Park.

    And I mean SHOCKING.

It would’ve capped off a splendid counter attack for the home side, from one end of the park to the other.

Sarr fires it across goal and Daniel Munoz just has to tap home from a few yards out.

Somehow, he misses the target altogether!

  • Latest scores

    • Brentford 2-1 Leicester
    • Crystal Palace 0-0 Newcastle
    • Nottingham Forest 0-0 Ipswich
    • Wolves 1-3 Bournemouth
  • From SunSport’s Justin Allen at Selhurst Park

A worrying opening 25 minutes here at Selhurst Park for Newcastle.

Alexander Isak has hobbled off with what appears to be a hip injury after a 50-50 clash with Tyrick Mitchell.

Joelinton and Joe Willock have also had to receive treatment.

The closest to a breakthrough came for Crystal Palace but Fabian Schar superbly cleared with Eberechi Eze set to pounce from close range after a lovely ball from Ismaila Sarr.

  • The view from Graeme Bryce at the City Ground

It’s been a frantic start here with a lot of huffing and puffing which has so far produced nothing!

Morgan Gibbs-White glanced a header into the side-net from an Anderson corner and Sammy Szmodics made a goal line clearance to deny Ryan Yates.

At the other end Ola Aina was in the right place at the right time to clear Cameron Burgess’s header off the line.

    It’s end-to-end basketball style here!

  • The view from Graham Hill at Molineux

It’s been a crazy start at Molineux with Bournemouth scoring three goals in the first 18 minutes – including two Justin Kluivert penalties on his 50th appearance for the club.

Milos Kerkez fired another goal in between – but Wolves have been a shambles at the back, and their fans are letting them know all about it.

Bournemouth’s third was controversial as Wolves keeper Jose Sa kicked Evanilson as he tried to clear the ball – but a VAR check ruled it was a penalty. As we stand, it’s 3-1 to the Cherries, but expect more goals.

  • 29 – GOAL!! BRENTFORD 2-1 Leicester

And just like that, Brentford are now ahead!

A fast-flowing move through the thirds as Potter and Wissa combine to play Mbeumo in, inside the box on the right.

He maybe should have went for goal but cut it across the box but nobody could make contact – though KEVIN SCHADE coming in from the left fires low and hard at the near post and finds the net.

  • On course

Six goals across the league after less than half an hour.

On course for the 15+ I predicted pre-match.

These two other 0-0s won’t finish that way either.

  • 25 – GOAL!! BRENTFORD 1-1 Leicester

That lead didn’t last long as YOANE WISSA equalises immediately.

Schade is sent clear down the left with a peach of a pass and he fires across goal for Wissa to tap home from eight yards.

  • Ruud not to

A wee smile for Ruud van Nistelrooy after that opener…

  • 21 – GOAL!! Brentford 0-1 LEICESTER

The Foxes take the lead at the G-Tech and FACUNDO BUONANOTTE has it.

Ethan Pinnock looks to be in control of a through ball looking for Vardy but the defending from him is as weak as you know what.

He stumbles and Vardy knocks the ball across goal and Buonanotte can’t miss from a couple of yards out.

The Ruud van Nistelrooy impact already…

  • 18 – GOAL!! Wolves 1-3 BOURNEMOUTH

JUSTIN KLUIVERT from the spot again and Bournemouth have three already.

In truth, they probably could have a couple more too. Gary O’Neil needs to change something and FAST.

This one is a real mess as Wolves try to play out from the back but Jose Sa is charged down by Evanilson who has been sprinting around from the first second.

He’s brought down, VAR called the ref over to check and he needed one look.

Kluivert this time putting more power on it, beating Sa for power as the keeper went the right way.

  • PENALTY BOURNEMOUTH!

A chance to go 3-1 up after a quarter of an hour…

  • VAR CHECK AT MOLINEUX

    It’s for another Bournemouth penalty….

  • 8 – GOAL!! Wolves 1-2 BOURNEMOUTH

What a terrific start at Molineux!

Christie and Evanilson combine superbly after a high press sees Bournemouth win the ball back.

It’s worked out to the left and MILOS KERKEZ makes an overlapping run into the box before firing low at goal.

It looks like it’s taken quick a deflection but by the look on his face, he could not care one jot.

    Some start!

  • Elsewhere

No, it’s not just Molineux we’re covering.

But there’s not too much happening elsewhere at the minute.

  • 5 – GOAL!! WOLVES 1-1 Bournemouth

What a fantastic response from Wolves, just seconds after going behind.

Matheus Cunha drives through the middle of the park before feeding Bellegarde out on the right.

He whips a terrific ball into the box where JORGEN STRAND LARSEN finds himself all alone, 10 yards out and powers a header beyond the keeper. Some start!
