Premier League flop who NEVER scored league goal after £13m transfer is one game away from LaLiga golden boot

CRYSTAL PALACE flop Alexander Sorloth is one game away from taking the LaLiga golden boot.

The Norwegian, 28, bolstered his remarkable goalscoring tally on Sunday as he scored FOUR goals in 17 minutes against Real Madrid.

His goal contributions saw Villarreal come back from 4-1 down to draw with the LaLiga champions 4-4.

The 6ft 5in striker was unlucky not to have five, after having a long-shot tipped onto the post by Andriy Lunin early on.

The forward is now on 23 goals for the season, is two ahead of second placed Artem Dovbyk and four ahead of England superstar Jude Bellingham.

Sorloth is known for a miserable spell in England at Palace.

He scored just one goal in 20 appearances for Palace, with that coming in the EFL Cup.

He failed to ever score in the Premier League in his 16 appearances for The Eagles.

He was then loaned to Gent and Trabzonspor before joining RB Leipzig on a permanent deal in 2020.
