Neymar has earned £29million PER GAME at Al-Hilal with ‘fed up club not even registering him in squad until January’

NEYMAR has earned a fortune for each game he has played at Al-Hilal, which has left club chiefs “fed up” according to reports.

The Brazilian, 32, joined the Saudi Pro League side from Paris Saint-Germain on 15 August 2023 for £78million.

Neymar suffered a anterior cruciate ligament injury and meniscus tear in his left knee while playing for his national team last October.

The exciting forward is said to be nearing a return and is back in training.

However, club chiefs have been left frustrated and “fed up” with some of his off-field behaviour, with a club source telling Marca some of it had been seen as “unprofessional” – a suggestion Neymar is yet to respond to.

Their apparent frustration has only grown thanks to their belief that the ex-Barcelona star should have already returned to action.

Neymar has not been registered in the Saudi League roster as one of the club’s eight overseas foreign players above the age of 23.

This means Neymar’s next match will not come until at least January, when the next registration window opens.

Having signed a bumper contract worth £2.5m-a-week to join Al-Hilal, he has since raked in a cool £145m across his 58 weeks at the club.

And having played just five games for Al-Hilal – with one goal and three assists – it has seen him earn a whopping £29m per match played.

But as it stands, Al-Hilal have not needed Neymar’s attacking prowess.

They triumphed in the Saudi Pro League last year – finishing 14 points ahead of Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr – and are currently three points clear at the top of this season’s table following a perfect start.

Former Fulham star Aleksandar Mitrovic has turned into a talismanic figure for the club with 11 goals already this season.

Other big names in the squad include Sergej Milinković-Savić, Joao Cancelo, Kalidou Koulibaly, Bono and Ruben Neves.
