NEWCASTLE have told two players they will be released in the summer, according to reports.
Academy duo Striker Michael Ndiweni, 20, and winger Amadou Diallo, 21, have been told to find new clubs when the season comes to an end.
The pair both made their Newcastle debut against Chelsea in November.
They have been in and around the first-team squad this season with Diallo an unused sub against Everton on Tuesday.
But both players have been told their contracts will not be renewed when they expire this summer, according to the Daily Mail.
Newcastle are set to release a number of academy stars including midfielder Lucas de Bolle, forwards Dylan Stephenson and Kyle Crossley, former Tottenham defender Jordan Hackett and goalkeepers Jude Smith and Will Brown.
But Toon have offered new deals to midfielders James Huntley, 20, and Ellis Stanton, 19.
Eddie Howe has been forced to call upon academy stars this year due to his squad being decimated by injury.
Lewis Miley, 17, has enjoyed a breakout season with 26 appearances in all competitions.
He has deputised for the likes of Sean Longstaff and Joelinton, who remains on the treatment table.
