Newcastle assistant boss Jason Tindall hailed for ‘next level s***housery’ after stunt on pitch after Sunderland win

Newcastle won 3-0 thanks to an own goal from Daniel Ballard as well as a brace for Alexander Isak.

His second, from the spot, was also given away courtesy of Ballard, who had a day to forget.

The Newcastle team then rubbed salt in the wounds of their Black Cats rivals by posing for a team photo in front of their fans after the game.

The team photo has become something of a signature for Newcastle under Eddie Howe’s reign.

And this particular version appeared to be the idea of assistant manager Jason Tindall.

Footage from the stands confirmed it was him that rallied the players round for a photo in front of the travelling Geordies.

The assistant has achieved infamy among fans who claim he loves to be the centre of attention following a big victory for the club.

And Newcastle supporters on X (formerly known as Twitter) were loving Tindall’s latest stunt.
