KARL ROBINSON has been sent off just 14 minutes into his first match as Salford City manager.
The boss was announced as the manager of the League Two outfit on Friday as the replacement for Neil Wood.
Robinson’s first match in charge came against Forest Green Rovers in League Two.
His side had got off to the perfect start of the new era as Matt Smith netted the opener in the 4th minute.
However, just ten minutes later Robinson was sent to the stands by referee Charles Breakspear.
His dismissal appeared to be due to keeping the ball away from the Forest Green players after it had gone out of play.

Salford teased today’s match as the start of a “new area” under Robinson.
And following the boss’ red card fans have joked at the club’s expense on social media.
One fan posted: “That’s 8 eras in 9 years! How many eras are you planning?”
