MANUEL UGARTE put his body on the line to win over Man Utd fans on his full debut.
The Uruguayan midfielder was left bloodied out on the field during Utd’s 7-0 demolition of Barnsley.
Ugarte started the Carabao Cup clash days after making his Red Devils bow from the bench against Southampton.
The 23-year-old showed off his combative side throughout a feisty first half at Old Trafford.
But the former PSG star came off second best in a tangle with the Tykes’ Luca Connell.
Some Utd fans claimed Connell “stamped” on the Uruguayan as he went in for a tackle, but he escaped without a booking.
