Man Utd fans fume as new footage emerges of Wan-Bissaka’s challenge on Elliott and claim Liverpool ace dived for penalty

MANCHESTER United fans have been left fuming at the decision to hand Liverpool a late penalty in Sunday’s 2-2 draw after new footage emerged.

Mo Salah earned Jurgen Klopp’s side a vital point when he converted from the spot following a foul on Harvey Elliott by Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

Luis Diaz put Jurgen Klopp’s side in front at Old Trafford, but Bruno Fernandes equalised for United after a mistake from Jarell Quansah.

Kobbie Mainoo then scored a stunning goal to give United the lead in the 67th minute.

However, controversy arose when Harvey Elliott appeared to be fouled by Aaron Wan-Bissaka in the box in the 84th minute, resulting in a penalty.

Fans have since questioned the decision after slow-motion footage appeared to show Wan-Bissaka committing to the challenge before Elliott kicked the ball away and hooked his foot under the defender’s leg.
